Aliki (Aly) Marie Pantas Semones is a Greek-American disabled theatre and filmmaker. She holds a BA in Theatre from Old Dominion University. She has served as a Director and  Acting teacher for The Hurrah Players, and an Acting teacher at SEE-COOP and also at The Actors' Place, Inc.  Aliki loves teaching and instilling in others a passion for the arts.  Additional director credits in Hampton Roads  include Venue on 35th Street and Little Theatre of Norfolk. She has also worked with other theatres including, but not limited to, Generic Theater, Virginia Stage Company and Little Theatre of Virginia Beach. Mrs. Semones was also one of the original cast members of 1607: First Landing and continued to perform in the outdoor drama until 2009.

The Pantas family had a dinner theatre in Williamsburg, VA called Williamsburg Dinner Theatre. There, Aliki served as Director for all productions of the season. She also acted in their show My Big Fat Greek Murder. 

As a filmmaker, some of Aliki’s credits include Producer, Assistant Director, Actor, Casting Director, Production Coordinator and Locations Scout. She has produced multiple films with Motion Art Collective and is a part of their collective. 

Aly is married to Glenn Semones and became a mom in 2024. She is the daughter of George and JoAnn Pantas, the daughter in-law to Atsuko and Glenn Sr, sister to Constantina Moody and an aunt to a few nieces and nephews. Aliki is incredibly proud to be the daughter and great granddaughter to immigrants. She is passionate about sharing her story, as a way to inspire and support others on their own healing journey. Aly loves hearing other people’s stories, and offering a safe space to tell them. We are all why we tell our story.
